I discovered a fun blog this week. Mostly a certain topic that was posted that really caught my attention. 3 amazing women who are going to shave their gorgeous long hair for a special cause. Wendy, the author of Wisdom of the Moon, is planning on shaving her head on March 14th, as a fundraiser to help cure childhood cancer.
I told my husband that I have always wished I could do that. Raise money for [breast] cancer and shave my head (or at least buzz it, I might be too chicken to shave). Serious! Ryan told me without a hesitation, that NO I was not allowed to EVER shave my head voluntarily. I guess he'd rather I have yellow - er, blonde - damaged hair than no hair at all.
Anyway, check out Wendy's blog and follow the progress of her going-bald journey! I'm definitely tuning in on March 14 to see some baldylocks! I'll live vicariously through them in the meantime!
I'm like you, I'd totally shave my head for a cause like childhood cancer. And my boyfriend is like your husband, he'd kill me if I shaved my head. Anyways i'll be checking back here to see the bald journey as well.
