My hubby was in a car accident on the interstate this afternoon! Talk about a SCARY day! He's ok, banged up, bruised, scraped, and part of his scalp was left behind in the windshield of the car... But aside from the pain, he's ok. No broken bones, no major head issues (they did an x-ray and a CT scan), just pain. He'll be sore for awhile. But he wasn't wearing a seat belt! Ugh, it makes me sick to think about how bad it COULD have been! If he had hit that other car directly head on, I really don't think he'd be here now! The other man in the accident is ok, his car is banged up and ours is most likely totaled... but over all, things could have been MUCH worse.
Moral of the story: Wear your seat belt and be extra careful when it's slick and snowy!
whoa I'm glad he is ok! I was in an accident back in July of 07, and luckily in WA state seatbelts are enforced and if I wasn't wearing mine the guy who T-Boned me would have hurt me a lot worse!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear he is ok, and if you can find Comfrey Salve (oil-based lotion type of thing) or Arnica homeopathy pills they are both great for muscle repair, and muscle soreness!!!
oh, I am so glad that he is ok. how scary!!!
ReplyDeleteMotor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. children between the ages of 1 and 14. You should always wear your seat belt, not only to prevent injuries and death, but to set a good example for those around you! Please visit our website http://www.carolinaclicks.org and sign the guestbook on our parents or student page to pledge to wear your seatbelt every time you enter the car!
