New project!

Ok, so to be honest, I don't know if I'll start officially working on this right away, or if I'll finish the multiple other projects that I've started (baby shoes, dresses, bags, more burp cloths, screen printing, and finishing my blankets... um, and more :-P Eeks, I have too many things started!) But I'm SUPER excited about my newest quilt project! It's SO adorable!

It's big too, about the size of a crib quilt! The orange squares are flannel and super soft. The other 2 fabrics are really soft too, I got all of them from my local quilt store that I'm so in love with - they have fantastic quality fabrics.

My one issue is this:

I'm one square short! Argh! This is so frustrating! Yeah, so I could just take away a row, but I LOVE the size it's at right now! So I'm just going to get a quarter yard tomorrow to finish it off. I'm really not sure what to back it in though. I do think the orange flannel would be adorable (and super soft), but that ivory that's in the banana's would be cute too... I'll take the finished quilt top in and try it up against multiple fabrics to make sure I get the perfect back.

I'm so excited about this!! I love these prints! Now the question is: regular quilt or rag quilt?!?!?

  1. This is a great quilt mandi! LOVE the patterns/colors. I think it would look amazing and FUN as a rag quilt! But just thought I would give you my opinion. I am sure it will look great anyway you choose. GOOD LUCK and happy quilting!!
